NativeTutor AI is built to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We treat accessibility as a baseline, not a bonus.
What we do today
- Semantic HTML and ARIA roles in all UI components
- Full keyboard navigation (Tab/Shift+Tab/Enter/Esc)
- Visible focus states and skip-to-content links
- Contrast that meets AA on light and dark themes
- Screen reader support tested with VoiceOver and NVDA
- RTL layout for Arabic (and future RTL languages)
- Resizable text, supports 200% browser zoom without breakage
- Captions on every demo and video lesson
- Mobile tap targets ≥ 44×44 px on primary actions
What we're improving
- Live captions in voice tutoring sessions
- Dyslexia-friendly font option
- Voice-only navigation for low-vision users
- Speech-rate controls for tutor narration
